This post deals with how to win people to your way of thinking on your blog, in person or on the telephone. These tips were gleaned from reading Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People.”

1. Never, never argue with a commenter or prospect. It only causes hard feelings and designates that there is a loser and a winner. Avoid arguments at all costs.

2. Don’t say “you’re wrong!” Show respect to the other person’s opinion.

3. When you are wrong, admit it!

4. Always begin each interaction with people in a friendly way.

5. Ask the right questions to get the other person saying yes immediately.

6. Let the other person do a great deal of the talking. In other words, be a great listner.

7. Let the other person feel that the idea is theirs.

8. Make an honest attempt to see things from the other person’s point of view.

9. Always be sympathetic with the other person’s ideas and desires.

10. Appeal to the nobler motives.

11. Dramatize you ideas. Present your ideas as personal stories.

12. Throw down a challenge to your blog readers and prospects. Give them a call to action.

When you follow these tips faithfully, you will indeed Win People to Your Way of Thinking.

In order to succeed in 21st Century Network Marketing it is essential to become a friendlier person. I picked up these tips on becoming a friendlier person from reading Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People.

1. When dealing with people on your blog, in person, or on the telephone don’t criticize, condemn, or complain about other network marketing companies or opportunities. Most certainly, don’t bad mouth other people.

2. You should always give honest, sincere appreciation to others for their participation in your blog and business.

3. Always strive to arouse in the other person an eager want. Give them great content. This is the main reason for your blog. This eager want is what makes your business thrive.

4. Becoming genuinely interested in other people’s comments on your blog is what causes blog followers to keep coming back. All people need to be appreciated.

5. Don’t forget to smile! Put some humor in your blog posts. Smile when on the telephone because people can sense your smile in the tone of your voice. And above all, smile when you meet with people in person. Your smile might be the highlight of a dismal day for them. Remember, a smile is free to give and can reap great benefits for both the giver and receiver, so share smiles freely.

6. Always, always strive to remember a person’s name. Remembering a person’s name is the greatest compliment we can pay a person, because to that person it is the sweetest and most important sound in the world.

7. Be a good listener. We can’t hear and understand a person’s wants and needs if we are talking all the time.

8. Always have the other person’s interests at heart. After all, we are there to help them solve their problems.

9. Strive to make the other person feel important and do it sincerely. There is a big difference between flattery and sincerity.

Since the beginning of the 21st century there has been a trend towards combining blogging and network marketing.

To be sure, there are avid proponents on sides. The blogging side claims blogging is revolutionizing network marketing and the traditionalists claim that one could never build your business in such a manner. The traditionalists say “Stick with tried and true methods that have worked for decades in the industry.”

Most certainly, while traditional methods of business building still work, it has become apparent to many of the leaders in the industry such as Ty Tribble, that what used to work doesn’t work quite as well any more. It has become a necessity to combine blogging and network marketing in the 21st century to build a successful business.

Why you might ask? It has to do with our culture in the U.S. today. Years ago, it was news to hear about a “way to earn extra money, or quit your job, or work from home” and there was virtually no competition for peoples attention. In the 21st century, however, there is an ever increasing influx of advertising, media around 24 hrs a day 7 days a week, and tons of other competing priorities. So it is now more important than ever to be at the forefront of peoples minds.

Where are these people now? Today, millions upon millions of people read blogs, do searches on Google, hang out on Facebook, Twitter and You Tube. They don’t hang out at the neighbors as much anymore or go to meetings in hotel rooms.

When you combine blogging and network marketing you can really target who actually wants, needs and is actively looking for your services, whether product or opportunity.

Instead of going from person to person trying to convince them to look at what you have, turn the tables and offer them something valuable and sought after by people. That my friend is target marketing!

Giving valuable information on your blog is the best way to attract people to you and your opportunity.

If you are going to get anywhere in Network Marketing, you must first build trust with the prospect or customer.

You can have complete mastery of selling techniques and skills and not be successful. It takes complete trust and and a deep personal connection before people will follow you or buy from you.

In other words, you must have a relationship with the prospect or customer.

A true relationship can only be built by two way communication. It can’t be built by one way communication.

Think of it this way, one way communication is lecturing, browbeating and hounding. Two way communication is interactive and encourages active dialogue between marketer, prospects and customers.

Too many network marketers tell the prospect and customer what they should buy and what level to enter the business. In today’s market and economy that just doesn’t cut it anymore.

You must take the time to build trust and establish a relationship with the prospect and customer. To find out what they will buy and what is preventing them from joining or buying
